Introducing the Evo 7-9 Weld-in Steering Column Mount set. 

Mitsubishi did a great job at providing safety in the event of a crash.... so much that they added ceramic breaks to the steering column mounts so in the event of a crash the wheel would fall and not crush your chest. The problem is vibration, moving and pressure can all cause these to fail prematurely and you can only order the complete unit from the dealer. Now we have these weld-in units that will never move and made from 316L stainless. This fixes the issue at a fraction of the cost and will ensure you no longer have this issue in your drag race car. 

Installation Notes

This is a weld-in component, so professional installation is highly recommended. For the best results, have the mount welded into place by a qualified fabricator or performance shop to ensure proper alignment and fitment. This is also considered to be OFF-ROAD use ONLY!!!!
